INITIAL ARCANA CONVERSATIONS: CHARIOT
What you can call them: Cairbre (pronounced ‘car bra’), Charioteer
What their conversation space looks like: Its conversation space isn’t a room at all. It’s the jostling back of a pick-up truck, which is speeding through a variety of different landscapes: cornfields, cliffs, the oceanside, the mountains, under water, over land, in the air, outer space, etc. Travelers will find themselves sitting on a hollow tire in the truck-bed, with a roughspun plaid blanket spread on top of it. Next to them is a picnic cooler with an open lid. Nestled amid the ice are energy drinks. (The logo on them looks suspiciously like Red Bull, if instead of red bulls there were silver horses.)
What can you expect from Arcana Chats: Cairbre’s manifestation of choice is an automaton: originally a human-looking one from Nova Venezia, it has since modified it to appear like a man-sized bipedal horsebot. During conversations, it runs alongside the pick-up truck, easily keeping pace with it. It is more than willing to give Travelers rides on its back.
Cairbre has a strange and terse mode of diction. It tends to leave out words it thinks are superfluous and sometimes those words are not what other people would consider superfluous. Because of that, even though it is a relatively straightforward and upfront Arcana, conversations with it can end up being a bit of a guessing game. If asked, it will admit that if it wins Synodiporia, it wishes to keep Traveling for fun and not as part of a game and that it will take home the Travelers who want to go home and keep the ones that want to stay. It also intends for its Chosen to help decide where to go next in these out-of-game Travels.
Cairbre occasionally possesses a knee-height quadrupedal horse-automaton that Kanji made for it in order to visit liminal space itself. When visiting, it notably will not stand still, although if it wishes to talk to someone, it will merely run circles around that person as it does so.
